“Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and minister of interior”, is preparing to visit Songkhla from August 31st to September 1st, 2026, for the first time as prime minister, in an off-site Cabinet meeting. The main mission is to provide a forum for listening to the problems, suggestions, and feedback from the public and all sectors.

In particular, the issue of Chana District, Songkhla Province, which still has diverse opinions and requires comprehensive consideration, will be addressed. The government emphasizes its readiness to listen to all voices and to incorporate data and the results of the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) into its decision-making. The SEA study took almost three years and involved more than 40 public consultation forums. Meanwhile, the government spokesperson team will be on site highlighting Songkhla's strengths, including culture, tourism, and community lifestyles, hoping to build upon local cultural assets and identity, create added value, and distribute income to the community.

Furthermore, on August 31st, 2026, “Prime Minister Anutin” will visit the area to monitor flood issues, security, and development in Southern Thailand. Before the cabinet meeting on September 1, 2026, we need to keep an eye on how the "Listening to the Voice of Songkhla" mission will turn out!
