“Chiang Rai Governor” Opens “Eastern Lanna Industry Fair 2026” Showcasing Northern Products

Today (August 13, 2026) at BCC HALL, 5th Floor, Central Ladprao, Bangkok. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Chuchip Pongchai, Governor of Chiang Rai Province, along with Ms. Thanita Thongngao, Chiang Rai Provincial Industry Officer; Ms. Patcharee Songsiyo, Phayao Provincial Industry Officer; Mr. Prayoon Baiya, Phrae Provincial Industry Officer; and Mr. Adisak Maneethapho, Nan Provincial Industry Officer, as well as heads of government departments, executives from government and private sectors, entrepreneurs, media representatives, and distinguished guests. Mr. Pasu Sukreevak, Nonthaburi Provincial Industry Officer, also honored the event with his presence, participating in the ceremony and taking photos with the management team, including Diana Flipo, the event's presenter, who showcased the charm of Thai fabrics and the Eastern Lanna identity through the mini-fashion show “The Charm of Lanna Art.”

The Eastern Lanna Industry Fair 2026 was organized to create a market space and increase business opportunities for entrepreneurs in the upper northern provinces of Thailand (Group 2), as well as to promote unique products and services to a wider audience. It also aimed to build networks of cooperation between entrepreneurs, the government, the private sector, and consumers, leading to sustainable income generation and economic growth in the region.

Throughout the five days of the “Eastern Lanna Industry Fair 2026,” visitors will find products reflecting the wisdom, identity, and creativity from Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae, and Nan, covering food and beverages, herbal products, fabrics and clothing, household goods, decorations, and various other creative products. The public can “see, taste, shop, and use” and purchase products directly from entrepreneurs. In addition, there will be product promotion and demonstration activities, games with prizes, special promotions, “golden hour” deals, Lanna cultural performances, and musical performances by various artists throughout the event.
