On September 30, 2026, at the Poh Teck Tung Foundation in Phlapphla Chai, Bangkok, Mr. Wichit Chinwongworakul (Vice Chairman), together with Mrs. Sirikul Opaswong (Director and Secretary-General), Mr. Jarurat Kunattanon (Director and Treasurer), and Mrs. Jinda Boonlaptaweechok (Audit Committee Member), presided over the ceremony to present honorary plaques to outstanding volunteers for the years 2024–2025. The event honored volunteers who have selflessly dedicated themselves to assisting the public and society without expecting anything in return, upholding the foundation’s mission of “Saving Lives, Preserving Lives, Building Lives.” Among the honorees was Mr. Chuchat Kaewkao a reporter for Khao Sod newspaper and a communications volunteer (Volunteer ID 81) who has consistently supported the foundation without seeking personal gain.

The outstanding volunteers honored at the event were categorized into seven groups: Rescue and Emergency Medical Volunteers, Service Volunteers, Traffic Volunteers, Special Task Volunteers, Communications Volunteers, Artist Volunteers, and Community Medical Relief Volunteers, all of whom have dedicated their physical and mental efforts to assisting the public across various missions.
This presentation of honorary plaques serves to express gratitude and commend the virtuous deeds of these volunteers, who have sacrificed their time and energy to aid accident victims and the general public. They play a vital role in benefiting society and the community, embodying the power of volunteerism and service for the greater good in alignment with the Poh Teck Tung Foundation’s motto: “Saving lives, preserving lives, and building lives.”
