“TAT Governor” promotes “ULTRAMAN HERO RUN 2026” to boost tourism

Today (7 July 2026), 2:20 PM at the Siam Pavalai Cinema, 6th floor, Siam Paragon Shopping Center, Ms. Thapanee Kiatpaiboon, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, gave an interview after opening the ULTRAMAN HERO RUN 2026 event, stating that this year the health and wellness trend is very strong, especially among Thais who prioritize this aspect. However, it must benefit the tourism industry. TAT has collaborated with Tsuburaya Productions, the owner of Ultraman, on this event. This year also marks Ultraman's 60th anniversary.

Ms. Thapanee further stated that, therefore, in addition to good health and tourism, memorable experiences were created by organizing the ULTRAMAN HERO RUN 2026, the first of its kind in Thailand. The event was held in three locations: Bangkok, Hat Yai, and Kanchanaburi. This event aims to attract international tourists. Our expectations are both financial gain and happiness, as well as the distribution of income to the local communities. In the last six months of the year, we want to stimulate tourism, hence the organization of this special event.
