Today (March 18, 2026) at 11:00 a.m. ,Mr. Patarapong Supakorn, also known as "Lawyer Aun Buriram," sprinkled holy water in front of the Election Commission of Thailand(ECT) office to ward off evil and ensure the EC could consider the Senate collusion matter fairly, honestly, and transparently. Mr. Pattharapong noted that the papers reportedly given by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) and Investigation Committee No. 26 today as evidence in the Senate collusion case need the ECT to disclose the information of all 229 accused individuals.

Mr. Pattharapong also questioned what evidence the 229 accused have to contradict the 70,000-page documents given by Investigation Committee No. 26. He also asked the ECT whether it is more confident in the accused's evidence than in the evidence produced by Investigation Committee No. 16, which it had constituted. He also stated that the DSI is working to furnish the ECT with evidence of financial transactions. However, why did the ECT reject the evidence? Or is it because they already have a planned plan to dismiss the Senate election collusion investigation?

Mr. Phatthapong went on to say that everything is a secret process handled by the ECT that is not open to the public. He feels the ECT has insufficient evidence and strongly argues that the 229 accused have no evidence to oppose it.
When asked if the material presented would be used in the 26th investigative committee's deliberations, Mr. Phattharapong said it was the same set of documents because the ECT did not allow copies. Furthermore, when the financial trail was revealed, no government official claimed that the information was incorrect, but the ECT fired officials. And, if the ECT's decision on the complaint affects the DSI's continuing case, Mr. Phattharapong stated that dismissing the complaint may represent an abuse of discretion in prosecution, and that he regards the ECT's behavior as a type of "organized crime," indicating that he will file a lawsuit in court shortly.
