Today (2 April) 8:30 AM at the Ministry of Energy, Mr. Pattarapong Supakorn, or Lawyer Aun Buriram, stated after submitting the letter that he had submitted a letter to the Director-General of the Department of Energy Business requesting copies of documents concerning oil stock levels, quota allocation, and oil pricing before the price increase was announced. He emphasized that these documents are crucial in revealing who benefited, how much oil each held, and who held oil before the price increase was announced. Someone must be benefiting from the people's suffering.

Mr. Phatarapong further stated that he would like to urge the new Minister of Energy to consider how to address the demands and concerns reflecting the people's hardship. He suggested mechanisms that can be utilized, such as the Oil Fund, or the cancellation or postponement of taxes during this situation. He also noted that the new Cabinet hasn't changed much, as it largely consists of the same individuals.

Mr. Phatarapong added that it must be acknowledged that the current oil stock is being sold at a new price, meaning someone is profiting from the people's suffering. He sees two paths currently unfolding: 1. The path of opportunity for capitalists and politicians; and 2. The path of crisis for the people.
