Today (6 April), reporters reported that after the new Cabinet members had taken their oath of office at Ambara Sathan Residential Hall, Dusit Palace, at 7:09 PM, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul left Dusit Palace and arrived at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House.

He was preparing to attend a special Cabinet meeting at the Santi Maitri Building at 8:00 PM, chaired by the Prime Minister. This will be the first official meeting of the new Cabinet since assuming office. All ministers were present.

The main agenda of this meeting is to acknowledge the draft Cabinet policy statement to be submitted to Parliament. This is a crucial step under the Constitution prior to the full commencement of government administration. The government is scheduled to present its statement to Parliament on 9–10 April 2026, amidst intense political and public scrutiny regarding the new government's policy direction.
