Today (13 April ), reporters reported that Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, also minister of interior, along with Chanthaburi Governor Montsit Paisalthanawat, deputy governors, the Provincial Administrative Organization president, members of Parliament for Chanthaburi and Trat, and related agencies, visited checkpoints during the 7-day Songkran holiday period at Phlapphla Narai Subdistrict Municipality. They provided dried food and drinks to boost the morale of the officers working at the checkpoint and emphasized the importance of road safety measures: "Don't drink and drive." The overall inspection was satisfactory.
Afterward, they traveled to a Shell gas station in front of Charoensuk Market to conduct a random check of the fuel retailer's readiness to provide services. The inspection revealed that the gas station had sufficient fuel reserves to meet public demand, even during the Songkran festival when traffic is heavier than usual.
