Today (17 April 2026) A source from the Royal Thai Army revealed regarding the public and tourist demand to visit “Ta Kwai Castle and Hill 350” that a specific opening date cannot yet be determined. This is due to the need to ensure security at the site and to thoroughly evaluate the border situation.

The source added that the opening may depend on an appropriate time or a significant occasion deemed suitable by the commander to ensure maximum safety for the public and tourists, which remains the priority over the current public demand.

Regarding the restoration of the historical site, the Fine Arts Department has already surveyed the area. Only the budget allocation and safety assessment remain before any work can begin. A specific timeframe for the start of work cannot be determined until the site is deemed ready in all aspects.
