When asked whether he would pursue legal action alone or in conjunction with Mr. Narucha Kosasivilai, the Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration and former Director-General of the Department of Local Administration Promotion, Mr. Chaiwat said they would need to discuss the matter, as he and Mr. Narucha had received similar orders.

Furthermore, regarding the Merit Protection Board's (MPB) statement that the transfer was for purposes other than benefiting the government, Mr. Chaiwat explained that the transfer occurred because Mr. Phumtham had assumed the position, and they had received policy directives, but had not yet implemented them. He added that this was contrary to government regulations and procedures and that the matter would be handled according to the established circumstances.
