“PM” Backs “Thai Helps Thai”Reducing Living Costs for the Public Before Cabinet Meeting

Today (12 May 2026), 9:30 AM at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House, reporters reported that before the Cabinet meeting, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, presided over the opening ceremony of the "Thai Helps Thai: Reducing the Burden of Living Cost" event. Several ministers were in attendance, including Mr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; Mrs. Supajee Suthamphan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce; Mr. Pakorn Nilapraphan, Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; Mr. Ekanat Promphan, Minister of Energy; Mr. Jaiseth Thaiseth, Deputy Minister of Interior; and Mr. Paradorn Prisnanantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office.

Before the meeting, the Prime Minister proceeded to Command Building 1 of the Government House to participate in promoting an exhibition by the Ministry of Public Health providing information on preventing infectious diseases. The Prime Minister also received a flu vaccine.

Then at 10:00 AM, the Prime Minister chaired the Cabinet meeting. Three ministers were absent: 1. Mr. Prasert Jantararuangtong, Minister of Education; 2. Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry; and 3. Ms. Sabeeda Thaiseth, Minister of Culture.
