Today (Oct 21, 2026) at 3:00 p.m. at Parliament, Mr. Chonnaphat Naksua, Member of Parliament (MP) for Songkhla Province, Zone 4, Kla Tham Party, addressed inquiries regarding whether he felt discouraged in his duties as an MP after the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) issued an order to freeze an additional 44 million baht of his assets. He briefly stated, "Oh, let's talk about it later."
When asked about his recent Facebook posts that seemed expressing grievance and discouragement, Mr. Chonnaphat laughed before saying that he would come back to answer later as he needed to go down to sign in first and then return for the meeting. When repeatedly pressed if his morale in performing his MP duties was still good, Mr. Chonnaphat revealed, "Deep down I want to answer, but right now I'm terrified of everything." When further asked what he was afraid of, Mr. Chonnaphat declined to answer and immediately walked away.
