Today (3 November 2026) at 8:25 AM at the Monthathip Hall Convention Center in Udon Thani Province, Mr. Julapun Amornvivat, Minister of Labour and a key figure within the Pheu Thai Party, spoke to reporters ahead of the mobile Cabinet meeting. Addressing the lighthearted atmosphere during a dinner on the evening of November 2, 2026, where he was seen singing alongside Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Mr. Julapun explained that it was simply a moment of relaxation following the Cabinet’s intensive workload. He noted that such informal gatherings—sharing a meal and singing together—reflect the strong cohesion within the coalition. Having governed together for over half a year, the parties have proven their ability to work in sync and drive policy forward; they are not merely new acquaintances, but long-time associates. He reaffirmed that both parties serve as the primary pillars of the coalition government and maintain a high level of unity.
When asked whether the song choice referencing the phrase “70 is just right” was a signal that the Kla Tham Party would not be invited to join the coalition, Mr. Julapun replied that he would prefer not to overanalyze it, adding that the government’s current stability is already more than sufficient. As for the decision on whether to add more parties to the coalition, that rests solely with the Prime Minister. When working together, we must respect each other’s decisions. The Constitution clearly outlines the requirements for forming a majority, while the authority to drive government operations lies with the Cabinet and the Prime Minister.
When asked whether coalition leaders should inform their partners if they intend to bring another party into the government, Mr. Julapun stated that, naturally, such matters would be discussed. To be frank, there have been no signals or discussions regarding the composition of the coalition; our focus has exclusively been on addressing the public's problems.

When pressed on whether the “good synergy” within the coalition implies that the Pheu Thai Party will remain unified in supporting ministers who face a no-confidence motion, Mr. Julapun affirmed that the party is indeed unified and has never experienced any internal dissent. He noted that the standard procedure is to listen to the parliamentary debates. Having attended every Cabinet meeting, he is fully aware of the projects approved and the policy initiatives being implemented. He expressed confidence that both the Prime Minister and the ministers facing scrutiny are capable of providing clear responses. Furthermore, as a matter of political etiquette within a coalition, there is an expectation of mutual support, as the primary objective remains solving the problems faced by the people.
When asked if the Prime Minister is confident in the support of the Pheu Thai Party, Mr. Julapun replied that the Prime Minister has never had any doubts to begin with.
When asked further whether the Pheu Thai Party would deliberate before casting its votes, given that some issues have been raised through public scrutiny, Mr. Julapun responded that the party would certainly listen to the explanations provided. As for confidence, I am 100% certain that the ministers will be able to provide explanations. Regarding whether each minister will receive the same number of votes, that remains to be seen, but I am confident that the Pheu Thai Party is a disciplined party.
