Thousands of Israelis united in a city of Reim, Southern of Israel, mourning the 2 years anniversary since Hamas’ 7th Oct attack, fully pinning the beginning of Israel-Hamas war, while they pressed on indirect peace talks in Egypt.

The mourning event in Tel Aviv, which is held by the bereaved families, was separated from a ceremony that the government will hold next week following the Hebrew calendar. However, the split reflects deep divisions over the Prime Minister Benjamin Natanyahu’s leadership, who blamed the failure of ceasefire negotiation to release hostages remaining in Gaza.

In the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army’s offensive has killed ten thousand of Palestinian and catastrophically razed buildings and cities, causing Palestinians who can be fleeing to shelters in Gaza. Many are unable to make the arduous and pathetic.

It has been two years since Hamas poured into Southern Israel and rockets fired into Israeli territory, destroying military bases, agricultural communities, and the outdoor music festival, killing more than 1,200 innocents, most of them civilians, including women, children and elderly.

Hamas kidnapped 251 hostages, most of whom were released in ceasefires or other deals. However, forty-eight are capsized in Gaza that Israel believes 20 of them to be alive. Contrasting by Hamas said the hostage release was in accordance with exchange in ceasefire agreement and Israeli withdrawal. Netanyahu vowed to continue the war until all hostages return and Hamas has been disarmed.

The attack set off a cascade of events that led Israel into combat with Iran and its allies across the region, including Lebanon’s Hezbollah, which suffered major losses. The US also joined Israel’s operation to attack the Iranian military and nuclear programme in a 12-day war in June.

Israel has also eliminated the militants’ leaders as well as Iranian generals and nuclear scientists, and it has vastly depleted the military capability of its enemies, while Israel invades Gaza and some parts of Lebanon and Syria.

However, the failure of hostages' release has pushed more divide on Israel, with weekly protests against Netanyahu, including at the international level.

Israel and Hamas hold an indirect discussion to agree to the peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump in a neighbouring country, Egypt.

The brutal war has killed more than 67,000 of Palestinian, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, though it does not depict the actual number of civilians and combatants. It says women and children make up around half of the total deaths.

Israel's offensive operation has displaced 90% or 2 million of Palestinian often multiple times, restricting the sending of humanitarian aid to relieve the famine crisis in Gaza.

Hamas portrayed the 7th Oct attack as a response to decades of Israeli land seizures, settlement and military occupation that has exacted a catastrophic toll on the Palestinians, whose dream of an independent state appears as distant as ever despite recent moves of major western countries to recognise one.
