Today (3 November 2026) at 3:05 PM at the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Mr. Phudit Kamnerdploy, or “Noom Kanchai,” arrived to meet with inquiry officials to provide a statement as a witness regarding the donation made to the Ongkan Tam Dee Foundation operated by Ms. Panadda Wongphudee, or “Boom Panadda.” Before meeting with the police, he stated to the press that he came today at the invitation of the Central Investigation Bureau regarding his donation of 1 million baht to the Ongkan Tam Dee Foundation, which was a one-time donation intended to support flood relief and rehabilitation efforts for victims in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, in September 2024.
When asked whether the donation was announced via social media or made privately, Noom Kanchai stated that they did not discuss it behind the scenes, but rather he saw that donations were being opened to help flood victims in the northern region, so he felt that the people in the area must be suffering and decided to make the donation, after which he did not think much of it. Regarding the reason for choosing to donate to the Ongkan Tam Dee Foundation even though there were several other organizations accepting donations as well, Mr. Kanchai stated that, if he remembers correctly, during that time he donated to two places: Boom Panadda’s foundation and another place belonging to “Kan,” donating 1 million baht privately to each of the two places.
When asked about the financial trail of the 1-million-baht donation regarding suspicions of it being used to build a house or transferred to other individuals, making the financial trail look confusing, Noom Kanchai stated that actually, when making a donation, he did not mind how it would be used in particular, as long as the money remained within the foundation and was used to help the people. He understood that during that time there might have been a large number of donations coming in, and there might have been leftover funds to be used for other things, but he requested that they remain within an organization that serves as a refuge for the people.

When asked if the police informed him what additional information they needed, Noom Kanchai stated that the police did not give details, only asking him to come in to provide information. He then asked who else had been invited, and the police informed him that it would likely include Mr. Phut Apivarn as well as Chompoo and Bella, so he agreed to come in and provide information. As for the documents he prepared, there was only a copy of the transfer slip.
When asked if the 1-million-baht donation at that time took into consideration tax deductions or corporate transactions, Noom Kanchai stated that he did not think about claiming tax deductions because at that time his sole intention was to help, and he did not request a tax withholding receipt at all.
As for whether he felt regretful over the donation, Noom Kanchai stated that personally, once the donation was made, he did not feel regretful because he considered it a good deed already. However, if anyone used the money in an incorrect or inappropriate way, they would have to face the consequences of their actions, no matter who they are.

When asked if he felt disappointed with the events that took place, Noom Kanchai stated that currently the facts have not yet clearly emerged as to when or how the money was spent, so he does not feel disappointed yet. However, if it is ultimately found that the money was indeed used for purposes other than intended—since the money he donated was clearly specified to support flood rehabilitation, but was instead used for other parts unrelated to helping those in distress—he would naturally feel disappointed, especially if it was used to buy a house, handbags, or other expenses outside of the specified objectives.
Regarding Boom Panadda stating that this is a matter of a trusted close person and that she is trying to find money to return to the foundation, Noom Kanchai stated that he dared not criticize because it is Boom’s right to clarify. However, he and Boom have known each other for a long time, since they were children and teenagers, so he wants to offer her encouragement and hopes it turns out as Boom truly said about being deceived. Nevertheless, the most important thing is the financial trail, which is a matter that the police must investigate and is an inevitable process.
Regarding Mr. Got Athip coming out to take responsibility for what happened and asserting that Boom Panadda knew nothing about it, Noom Kanchai stated that he could not answer whether he believed it or not, but admitted that it was strange. If Mr. Got had deceived Boom from the beginning, why didn’t he speak up from the start, and was his coming forward too late, causing Boom to suffer trouble along with him? On the day Mr. Got phoned in to speak on his program, he still felt that the explanation was unclear and still not resolved.
When asked whether being life partners yet not knowing certain things about each other is considered abnormal, Mr. Kanchai stated that family matters are a boundary each family has for themselves, so he would not intrude. However, what stood out as unusual was the statement of Chang Ae, or the construction contractor, which did not align with the other party’s explanation. Mr. Got’s side stated that Boom knew nothing about the construction of the pool villa, while Boom herself stated she knew nothing about it beforehand, but Chang Ae stated that Boom knew about it from the beginning, causing confusion over who was telling the truth and who was lying.
As for whether he spoke with Boom privately in any further detail after she phoned into the “Hone Krasae” program, Noom Kanchai stated that there were some text messages exchanged via LINE, but they were merely sending emojis without any extensive conversation.
When asked why many celebrities or prominent figures chose to donate large amounts of money to Boom, Noom Kanchai stated that it was a matter of trust, much like himself who did not donate to Boom alone, but also donated to close acquaintances or trusted individuals, including other foundations, without choosing any single organization. However, seeing close acquaintances go out into the field to help and witnessing their actual work fostered trust and led to the decision to donate, just like Boom, whom he had seen continuously going out into the field to help the public.
When asked how people feel when donating money out of trust, only for such an incident to occur, Noom Kanchai stated that today he does not feel terrible yet because he must wait for the facts to materialize into concrete form regarding what actually happened. It is still an allegation at this moment, and even though there may be financial trail evidence pointing toward Boom, Boom also has the right to clarify, and everything must follow due process.
As for whether he spoke with other celebrity friends who donated money to the foundation, Noom Kanchai stated that he had not spoken with anyone, having only talked to Phut Apivarn yesterday by phone to ask what time he would arrive. Initially, they intended to come together, but Phut had to come in the morning due to evening work commitments, whereas he had to come in the evening due to morning work commitments, so they did not discuss other matters.
When asked whether Boom Panadda can return to her former standing after clarifying the whole story, Noom Kanchai stated that it will certainly take time. If what happened is indeed as Boom said—that she was deceived—time must be given, because regaining public confidence in a short period of time will likely be difficult, as the public trust in Boom may have vanished and she will have to live under a cloud of criticism for some time. Even if Boom is ultimately proven innocent, there may still be people talking about the incident where money was donated only to be swindled by her husband, which will become something that continues to haunt Boom.
As for whether he has any advice for Boom, Noom Kanchai stated that it would be difficult to advise her, but he wants Boom to tell the whole truth, because the truth is the only thing that can protect oneself. Even though mistakes have happened today, if the truth is told, those things will return to protect her. If she did nothing wrong, she will not be at fault, but if there were parts where she was truly wrong, telling the truth can make heavy matters lighter, and everything depends on what Boom has done.

When asked if the incident made him think more carefully before donating money in the future, Noom Kanchai stated that as far as he knows, Thailand has quite a number of foundations, and he agrees with the demand of Oysri to audit foundations that are not government-run, viewing it as a necessary matter to inspect. However, he confirmed that he will still continue to donate money because he feels what he has received should be shared back with the public. Since he has today and earns advertising revenue thanks to the viewers, he sets aside a portion of money to donate to help those experiencing hardship, as well as providing scholarships for underprivileged children and improving classrooms in schools.
Noom Kanchai stated further that he still believes there are good people who pass on donated money to those truly affected, but what he wants to request is that the numerous foundations that have emerged should disclose their donation amounts and expenditures to the public every month. It is not difficult to reveal how much money comes in each month and what it is spent on, complete with account reconciliations and publication via websites that the public can inspect.
“You going out into the field to help people, riding jet skis through floodwaters and whatnot—I think that’s way harder than you coming out to explain each month how much money came in. Why can’t you do that? Where is the difficulty? I don’t see it as hard at all, and you would even look more graceful doing it.”

When asked what he would consider first if he had to donate money to a foundation, Noom Kanchai stated that he would have to look at whether it is truly a charitable foundation and whether it is certified by the government. Nevertheless, he does not want influencers who go out to the field to help suffering citizens to lose their morale over what happened, because what they do is considered a good deed, and he himself lacks the physical strength to wade through floods or face various disasters, so he still has to rely on those who go out to help.
Noom Kanchai emphasized that trust stems from transparency. If people can be reassured by clarifying what the money is spent on each month and making the figures transparent for inspection, it should not be a matter of hardship, because donations belong to the public. If 100 baht is received, the 100 baht should be displayed; if 1 million baht is received, 1 million baht must be disclosed. If it is not disclosed from the beginning, when problems arise and appeals for public sympathy are made, it may cause the public to feel disappointed.
When asked if he had anything to message to Boom Panadda while society is watching closely, Noom Kanchai stated that he wants her to speak according to the facts that occurred, because the truth is the most important thing to protect oneself and family. This matter is a big deal because it is public money; let us not forget that some people may have poor financial standing with not much money, earning only 100 to 200 baht a day through hard labor, yet they still pull out 100 baht or even 10 baht to donate because they want to pass on help to those in distress. That amount of money might be what they have to work 3 to 4 days to earn, yet they are still willing to give it, so it is something that needs to be considered as to whether such actions should be done.

Regarding news reports that charitable donation money was used to buy luxury brand-name goods, Noom Kanchai stated that he did not know the details, but had heard some news about it. However, this matter is a fact that the police must investigate and clarify.
For the case where he previously mentioned on the “Hone Krasae” program that he had just learned donation funds were used for expenses related to building a pool villa, Noom Kanchai stated that the construction took place since last year and was his own house, but what shocked him was discovering a financial trail showing fundraising activities and money leaving on the same day before the money reached Chang Ae, which was a shocking matter.
