Today (April 2, 2026), Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, Ms. Thanaporn Wijan, Mr. Sia Champathong, and Mr. Sahasawat Khumkhong, MPs from the People's Party, issued a statement listing four urgent demands to Mr. Julaphan Amornvivat, the new Minister of Labour:

1. Implementation of the CARE pension formula for 570,000 Section 39 covered individuals experiencing a high cost of living problem. This should be referred to the Cabinet for quick action.

2. Promptly elect a new Social Security Board while adhering to the original election laws and the will of the people.

They encouraged the new Minister, Mr. Julaphan Amornvivat, to expedite the election of the Social Security Board, as the current board has been in office for more than two months.

3. Resolving IT system issues in the Social Security Application, a project costing more than 850 million baht that has resulted in insured persons missing funds and difficulty receiving various support payments. This is the Minister of Labour's direct obligation to handle.

4. A serious fact-finding commission should be formed to look into the SKYY9 building matter and discover who is responsible for the insured's cash. This comes after it was discovered that Ms. Treenuch Thianthong, the former Minister of Labour, did not take the case seriously and allowed the process to drag on. The investigation was discovered to be unusually hasty, and attempts were made to form a fact-finding commission.

She further said,   she expected Minister of Labour Julaphan Amornvivat to outperform her predecessor, Ms. Treenuch Thianthong, who wasted nearly four months due to her incompetence.

Finally, She expressed her concern about involvement in the SKYY9 building issue, citing the fact that people involved are prominent figures in the government's major party. She remarked that she is quite concerned, but she is ready and eager to help Mr. Julaphan if he is determined to doing the right thing. She also advised that he use this opportunity to clean up the mess and ensure transparency at the Ministry of Labour.
