Today (3 April) at 10:00 AM at the Ministry of Defense headquarters, General Tharapong Malakham, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, led officials from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defense in bidding farewell and expressing their respects to General Natthapol Nakpanich, the former Minister of Defense, who is leaving his position.
Reporters reported that before the ceremony began, General Natthapol spoke with reporters. During this time, Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen, the new minister of defense, walked out of his office to personally bid farewell to General Natthapol. General Natthapol told Lieutenant General Adul to take care of the lower-ranking personnel, who may currently misunderstand... "My superiors may not have paid attention, but in reality, throughout my time at the Ministry of Defense, I have always paid attention, ever since I served as secretary to the minister, Mr. Sutin Klangsaeng. But now that I'm no longer here to witness the success, I entrust you with continuing it."

After speaking, General Natthapol embraced Lieutenant General Adul before concluding with the statement that Lieutenant General Adul, now at the executive level, would realize that "Thailand still has many problems that need solving."
Following this, General Natthapol paid respects at all seven sacred sites within the Ministry of Defense and participated in a tribute ceremony led by General Tharaphong, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, and high-ranking officials. General Natthapol stated that he had received excellent support from everyone.

In the tribute ceremony, General Natthapol said that throughout his career, he had received excellent support from everyone, from his military service to his work in the private and civilian sectors before returning to the executive level. He considers himself to possess the spirit of five professions, which makes his way of thinking different from previous ministers, but he remains patient and understands what he wants to develop in the armed forces. I won't use the word "command" because I want everyone to work with understanding. If I leave this position, things might change, but if you understand, everything will be sustainable. Even if these approaches don't materialize in this era, I believe they will leave a legacy or footprint, and when new superiors come in, they will understand and implement them.
