Today, (16 February, 2026), at the Thai Sang Thai Party headquarters, Sudarat Keyuraphan, former leader of the Thai Sang Thai Party, claimed that it was a disgrace that Thailand's corruption index had fallen to its lowest level in 19 years. Even more terrible, Thailand lags behind ASEAN, Laos, and Vietnam. She highlighted that if Thailand does not take strong steps to combat corruption, it will continue to cause poverty and impede the country's prosperity. She warned that without addressing corruption, GDP will never exceed 2%. She urged the public to band together and advocate for a constitutional amendment that would allow 50,000 persons to impeach corrupt officials regardless of their position in the organization. Every sector must be subject to public scrutiny and removal. People's authority should not be restricted to general election day they should be able to analyze politics at any point.
