Today (March 27, 2026) at 11:00 a.m., Mr. Phatthapong Supakorn (Lawyer Aun Buriram) submitted a letter to the Government Complaints Centre requesting that Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul accept political responsibility and consider resigning due to a lack of qualifications and ethical standards in accordance with Section 160(4) (5), which states that ministers must be honest and not violate ethical standards.
He added that Mr. Anutin's performance as Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as his current position as Minister of Interior, he considers unsafe and unethical. Many Thais no longer trust Mr. Anutin since his previous leadership of the country violated the Constitution in seven, as follows:
1. Concerns about ethical qualities, such as the choice of an inexperienced Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, as well as the use of airports. This includes the development of a highway in Khanoeng Phra Subdistrict, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, to benefit his family's private enterprise.
2. Conflict of interest under Articles 184 and 186 of the Constitution, which forbid ministers from holding contracts with the government. However, the management of the MotoGP sporting event at Chang Arena in Buriram Province, which required a four-year budget commitment of over 4 billion baht, is problematic since PM Anutin is associated with those who received the funds, resulting in a conflict of interest. Furthermore, the appointment of a PTT executive as Minister of Energy exposes a conflict of interest that violates the Constitution.
3. The lack of the rule of law and the execution of laws under Article 3 of the Constitution, as well as the use of state authority in the Khao Kradong land issue, calls into doubt the strictness and fairness of state power.
4. PM Anutin should accept responsibility by resigning due to the lack of neutrality in civil service and public administration under Article 76, which involved the transfer of high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Interior to the Election Commission, resulting in the dirtiest election possible.
5. During the General Election, PM Anutin was accused of collusion in the selection of senators.
6. Mr. Anutin's actions contradict the concept of residents' right to utilize state resources, as illustrated by the current uncertainty surrounding oil reserves and unexpected price changes.
7. PM Anutin's inefficiencies in public administration, ranging from public health during COVID-19 to energy management, notably the oil crisis, and the election management system, has damaged public trust. As a result, he recommends that PM Anutin accept responsibility and resign.

Phatarapong added that the activities mentioned above took away the public's trust in PM Anutin Charnvirakul, and he has requested that he quit in order to maintain fairness in the present investigations and give auditing agencies peace of mind. He specifically mentioned the appointment of an oil company's CEO and Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, as the director of the Center for Monitoring and Managing the Conflict in the Middle East, questioning how this was possible given their vested interests in the 6 baht per liter increase in oil prices.
He stated that there is no need to look for external evidence because oil prices are equivalent to those of Japan and South Korea, which regularly publish their oil reserves. He questioned the oil corporations if they were willing to divulge the quantity of oil reserves they had prior to the 6 baht price rise.
