Today (6 April) 11:10 AM at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, as the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, spoke about the party's 18th anniversary. He expressed his delight at the party's growth and development each year since its founding. He noted the party's participation in numerous elections, particularly the most recent one, highlighting the need for a shift in its working methods as more young people join the ranks. He emphasized the importance of transferring knowledge and experience to the younger generation to better serve the people and the nation. He hoped this transition period would strengthen the party through shared experience and collaboration with those who nurtured its growth.

When asked about the party's potential for further growth, Mr. Anutin stated that the party will do its best with sincerity and a commitment to prioritizing the people. He asserted that this will drive the party's growth, with the people providing the direction. "We grow because of the people, not because of ourselves."

When asked about the principles that guide the party's unity, Mr. Anutin stated that it is based on mutual trust and the belief that all party members are committed and dedicated to working for the common good. Therefore, anything proposed, as long as it is not illegal, unethical, or against professional conduct, will be supported by the party. This allows party members to convey their aspirations to the people. This is what has earned the Bhumjaithai Party the trust and confidence it has received, stemming from its slogan of "saying what you mean and doing what you say," leading to trust and the opportunity to govern the country.

When further asked if he was confident the government would complete its four-year term, as per the blessings received today, Mr. Anutin said that blessings are good and auspicious, but one must also conduct oneself well. We must work diligently and not be swayed by praise or flattery but rather consider ourselves servants of the people and the nation. This is another quality instilled in Bhumjaithai Party members: avoid formality, arrogance, and acting like important people. The people must always come first. If you queue up, you will always be at the back. This is what Bhumjaithai instills in everyone.

Regarding the future outlook and whether the Bhumjaithai Party can grow to form a single-party government, Mr. Anutin said, "I think if we seek knowledge and lead Thailand forward together without conflict, it's better to join hands and move forward together. Going alone while five or six others are constantly plotting against you is not good. Therefore, working together is the best option."

When asked further whether the Bhumjaithai Party, as the leading party in the current coalition government, can overcome the current energy crisis with public trust, Mr. Anutin stated, "Resolving crises is the government's responsibility. In the past, the Bhumjaithai Party has shown that during various crises, including COVID-19 and other disasters, we can resolve them successfully. As the government, we must resolve all crises for the people."
