Today (8 April) at 11:30 AM at Parliament, Mr. Chris Potranan, a party-list MP from the Economic Party, gave an interview regarding the chaotic incident in Parliament during the consideration of the auditor's report and the report on the fund for former Members of Parliament. When asked whether he had cleared up the misunderstanding with the People's Party, he stated that the closest thing to clearing up the misunderstanding was a phone call on the same day. He asked why they called, and they said they wanted to clear things up. He responded, “At this point, it’s not a problem between me and you, because you insist that what you did wasn’t impolite. But in my view, it was impolite and bad etiquette. In my eyes, it was harassment and playing outside the rules, because we debated on the issues, protested within the issues, and stayed within the regulations. But they came in after we had finished debating.” "That's considered playing outside the rules," Mr. Chris reiterated. "Therefore, let the process take its course. We need to obtain evidence from Parliament to proceed. While others may see it as not wrong, in my view, there's a problem that needs investigation."
