Today (24 April 2026) 2:08 PM at Government House, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Ekniti Nitithanprapas, gave an interview regarding the progress of the Thai Help Thai Plus project. He stated that registration is intended to begin in May 2026, and payments are planned to start in June 2026, in accordance with the Prime Minister's policy. This project aims to provide relief to the public, with the government contributing an additional 60% and the public contributing 40% (60:40). It also includes support for vulnerable groups, which will not be subject to additional contributions. For the middle-class or general public, the 60:40 ratio will also be applicable. It's important to note that this is not the same as the "Half-Price" co-payment scheme. This program aims to alleviate the burden of rising living costs through the Paotang application. Initially, the plan is to provide a monthly payment of 1,000 baht for four months.
