Today (6 May 2026) at 10:50 AM, at the IMPACT Forum, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul gave an interview to the media after presiding over the opening ceremony of a national-level event titled "24 Years of Rapid, Comprehensive, and Fair Assistance to Innocent Victims, Because Justice Delayed is Justice Denied."
Mr. Anutin addressed the issue of the Democrat Party preparing to petition the Constitutional Court. Regarding the government's issuance of an emergency decree to borrow 400 billion baht, which undermines fiscal discipline, Mr. Anutin stated that everyone is performing their duty; his duty is to help the people. These benefits accrue to the people, and it's not that they haven't done so before. He welcomes scrutiny at all times, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, has previously stated that the process is verifiable and can be checked immediately through digital systems. Everyone is involved, so there's no need to worry.

When asked by reporters whether any specific agency needed to clarify the matter or if Mr. Ekniti would be the one to do so, Mr. Anutin replied that this matter originates from the Ministry of Finance, and there are responsible parties ready to provide explanations.
