On October 17, 2026, it was reported that the Facebook page for “Punjab Grill Bangkok,” an Indian restaurant located within the Radisson Suites Bangkok, Sukhumvit 13, posted a photograph featuring Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, Captain Thamanat Prompow, party-list MP and leader of the Kla Tham Party, and Mr. Chada Thaiseth, Bhumjaithai Party MP for Uthai Thani. The accompanying English-language post, translated into Thai, stated that Punjab Grill Bangkok was honored to host Anutin, Thamanat Prompow, and Chada for dinner.

According to reports, the dinner took place last week. The meeting between Anutin and Thamanat occurred against the backdrop of recent developments, including the Kla Tham Party’s removal from the opposition whip and reports suggesting the party might refrain from participating in a no-confidence motion against the government. It is anticipated that the no-confidence debate will take place from October 27–29, 2026, with a vote scheduled for October 30, 2026. Furthermore, there is speculation that a cabinet reshuffle will follow the debate, with the Kla Tham Party expected to join the government.
