Mr. Anutin served as the presiding layperson for the ceremony. Before the religious ceremony commenced, incense and candles were lit to pay homage to the Triple Gem. The presiding monk administered the Five Precepts, followed by the chanting of sacred Buddhist verses by the monks. The Prime Minister then performed the foundation stone-laying ceremony by placing nine types of auspicious flowers, bricks, nak (an alloy of gold and copper), and coins, along with the foundation stone and a sacred yantra plaque. He also scattered nine-colored gemstones, popped rice, and flower petals while the monks chanted the Chaiyamongkhon Katha (verses of victory and auspiciousness). The ceremony concluded with the monks offering blessings and sprinkling holy water upon the attendees.

On this occasion, Mr. Anutin expressed his gratitude to Udon Thani province and its residents for their warm welcome. He noted that this visit, coinciding with the mobile Cabinet meeting, reflects the government’s commitment to engaging with citizens across all regions listening to their concerns and needs in order to expedite solutions and drive key projects toward tangible results.

He further affirmed the government’s readiness to provide budget support for fiscal year 2028 (B.E. 2571) to accelerate the construction and development of the institution, underscoring the importance of having a sufficient number of high-quality medical and public health personnel. This will help elevate public healthcare, as well as enhance the nation’s stability and prosperity, while also fostering confidence among foreign investors. He expressed his gratitude to all sectors for their support and their vital role in driving this project to success as they work together to bring further prosperity to Udon Thani province and the nation as a whole.
