On 10th October 2025, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) and the Government Savings Bank will disburse the 5th installment of compensation payments of 2,000 and 5,000 baht to 388 households in Chanthaburi Province along the Thai-Cambodian border.

According to the Cabinet resolution on 26th August 2025, the criteria for compensation payments to affected people are as follows:

1. For households that were evacuated for 8 days or more: 5,000 baht per household

2. For households that were evacuated for no more than 7 days: 2,000 baht per household

So far, the DDPM and the Government Savings Bank have disbursed compensation to affected households in Buriram, Sisaket, Surin, Trat, Sa Kaeo, Ubon Ratchathani, and Chanthaburi provinces for 4 installments on October 6, 7, 8, and 9, 2025, covering a total of 252,690 households, amounting to 1,173.534 million baht.

For some households that have not yet received compensation due to not having linked their PromptPay account to their national ID number or due to irregular bank account status, the Department of Public Relations urges affected people to verify their PromptPay linkage with their national ID number, and if they have not yet linked their bank account, to contact any bank to proceed with the linkage as soon as possible.
