“Half-Half Plus” launch day! Over 16 million people registered within just 4 hours

On October 20, 2025, the "Half-Half Plus" economic stimulus initiative, which offers 20 million registrations, started taking registrations on the “Paotang” application at 6:00 a.m.   Due to the huge public response, some initial application usage was disrupted.

However, Krungthai Bank reported that more than 13 million users registered and got their rights within the first two hours.   Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat, the government's spokesperson, expressed satisfaction with the program's great popular interest.   At 11:20 a.m., there were 2,538,825 remaining.

Registration for the Half-Half Plus can be done through the Pao Tang application from October 20 to 26, 2025, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Those who already took part in the Half-Half Plus (Phase 5) will receive an immediate notification following successful registration.   Taxpayers will receive 2,400 baht, while non-taxpayers would get 2,000 baht.   New registrants will be notified of their eligibility via SMS and the Paotang app within 3 days. Eligibility is valid from October 29 to December 31, 2025 (start using by November 11, 2025 to avoid rejection from the scheme). The maximum daily expenditure restriction is 200 baht.
