On October 29, 2025, at the Parliament building, Mr. Rangsiman Rome, a party-list MP for   People Party, House of Representatives Committee on State Security addressed the challenge to reveal the names of politicians starting with C. He stated that he assumed governments already knew the facts. He expected they could be arrested right away, but he's not sure why no action has been taken to pursue them. Currently, many actors can be prosecuted instantly. He wonders if there are any special interests involved, and why the government hasn't responded.

“We no longer want to deal with the small fry we want to go after the key figures behind transnational crime. The question is why no action has been taken against them. C. is quite large, but there are larger ones," He explained.

When asked by reporters if he could identify them, Mr. Rangsiman said the government already knows who they are. Otherwise, how could the United States act? Although they are far away, they can act, while Thailand cannot. It is not because we lack information. However, the primary focus is that we have a plethora of information. It's more than just who they are and who they've involved. We even know how Thai politicians are involved in scams. The Cabinet already knows who they are, and some non-politicians have become politicians. As such, scammer gangs are connected to influential figures in this country.

Hence, These are the underlying factors of Thailand's emergence as a global money laundering hotspot. Today, we see grey capital entering Thailand and becoming part of the money of people in power, which is then exploited for political advantage and the use of state power to protect the interests of grey capital.

Mr. Rangsiman add that the Royal Thai Police (RTP) has information on the financial trail and can verify it. However, he questioned the Anti-Money Laundering Office's (AMLO) delayed and reactive strategy rather than proactive. He believes that by acting in this manner, they will be able to dispose of the assets of current scammers, preventing them from taking action or being arrested. However, he asked the government to take aggressive measures and assess who benefits from the scammers' undiscovered.

Finally, Mr. Rangsiman reaffirmed that these are not hollow words, but rather an issue of national interest. Are these people benefiting from scammers as numerous other groups try to undermine their authority.
