On November 20, 2025, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul gave a special speech titled "Change for the Future" at the "PRACHACHAT OUTLOOK THAILAND 2026: Adjust - Change - Move Forward" seminar. The Prime Minister noted that the world is going through one of the greatest changes of all time, encompassing economics, society, politics, technology, geopolitics, and the inevitable depletion of global resources, with Thailand at the forefront of this transformation.

The PM remarked that the most important question is what we are confronting and how Thailand should adapt, adjust and move forward to face the fast-changing globe. This necessitates the adoption of new technology. As a result, geopolitics creates new global laws that must be in accordance with these rules, as seen by indicators such as the United Nations' Standing Development Goals. His attendance in the ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in South Korea, and his visit to the People's Republic of China provide important chances and benefits for Thailand.

The PM says that in his spare time, he frequently meets with leaders from many countries, including those from smaller economies, in order to adjust to his new role as Prime Minister. He also addressed Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkaew, saying, "I'm delighted to be working with him because I feel like Thailand is back on the global radar" after appearing to have faded from international attention. The Prime Minister also remembered the COVID-19 pandemic, during which many nations approached him with offers of medical equipment. When we got assistance, we responded, since the world needs to support one another. This has ended up in a phenomenon in which everyone is trying to aid Thailand. When our country is strong, we aid others in turn. However, the world's depleting resources, with fewer births and deaths, are causing an increase in the senior population. To replace these, technology and artificial intelligence are required. As a result, the term "geopolitics" is critical in understanding the new world order.

Mr. Anutin stated that Thailand is presently pursuing international frameworks such as the BCG economic model, membership in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and compliance with the Resilience Framework, Green energy, solar power are also significant issues. Despite global political tensions, Mr. Anutin believes that no country wishes to return to the days of armed conflict. If we can prevent it, we should pursue diplomatic negotiations instead. However, we must demonstrate that "even if we hope for peace, we are ready to shout war" to ensure that Thailand is prepared to protect its sovereignty and will not be beaten or disadvantaged.

Thailand has a strong geopolitical foundation, as well as international engagement.

Mr. Anutin emphasized Thailand's geopolitical strengths for success on the global stage, particularly in health care and medical tourism. Other countries may have more modern technology than Thailand, but they lack the meticulous and devoted care that Thais provide. Following treatment, patients can continue their recovery at resorts, increasing revenue for Thai hospitals and providing a marketable product. As a result, the medical care industry in Thailand is continuously expanding and unquestionably influencing the country's future.   As such, international discussions in today's globe call for collective efforts. "Collaborating for the benefit of all nations" has resulted in international relations, implying that the globe is no longer a winner-take-all or zero-sum game. There is only a win-win situation in which both parties obtain their intended results. Thailand retains its status as a global ally, rather than a monopoly or a supporter of any one party. The key shifts that will impact Thailand's future.

Regarding the Thai-Cambodian border situation, the current strategy is to protect the country's interests to the greatest extent possible, whether in terms of security, economy, or diplomacy. He insisted that Thailand would not lose a single square centimeter. Therefore, finding a mutually beneficial solution requires both parties to use collaborative monitoring and verification technology. Despite the fact that the administration is only in office for four months, the PM declared that the Thai economy is going at full pace. He underlined the necessity for "people who can adapt as best they can, citing the Half-Half Plus scheme and human development that focuses on. Upskill-Reskill helps SMEs and citizens improve in the AI era. In order to accommodate Thailand's aging population, the retirement age has been raised based on senior workers' abilities and upskilling.

Finally, Mr. Anutin addressed the political issue, announcing that he would dissolve Parliament and return control to the people. There are now limited options, therefore he advised students to think about which parties have solid politics and practice effectively. Furthermore, they must assess whether they possess the necessary knowledge, guts, and charisma to seek cooperation. As a result, next year's election is critical, as the existing political conditions require an honest acknowledgement that it cannot last. Furthermore, as a minority government, a no-confidence resolution is unnecessary because it would be defeated. He also called for a dissolution on December 12th.
