Today (3 Feb) 11:35 AM at Government House, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul addressed the press regarding Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet's planned protest against Thailand and his accusations of territorial invasion. He stated, "We have not received any report, and I reaffirm that Thailand is operating within its own sovereignty."
When asked about his instructions to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as acting prime minister, Mr. Anutin replied, "We are monitoring the news closely. When anything comes up, the Ministry will clarify the matter to any organization with questions. I have previously stated that Thailand and Cambodia have a ceasefire agreement in place, including its terms and conditions, and there should be nothing to question."
Regarding the possibility that Cambodia might breach its promise and create conditions for a similar situation to recur, Mr. Anutin stated that there is no problem. As long as we don't break our promises or agreements, which is something we have always upheld, we can set the conditions to our satisfaction.
