PM "Anutin" submit new cabinet lineup this evening

(SAP News - Punyaphon Rakcharoen)On 16th September 2025, at 1.08 PM, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul arrived at the Secretariat of the Cabinet building to review the qualifications of the ministers in the new cabinet. At 12.30 PM, Ms. Traisulee Traisoranakul, registrar of the Bhumjaithai Party, arrived at the Secretariat of the Cabinet to gradually submit the names of those nominated to be ministers to Ms. Natjaree Anantasin, Secretary-General of the Cabinet, for a qualifications check before the list is submitted for royal approval later today.

Afterward, Mr. Anutin left the Secretariat building at 2.14 PM, stating that the list of the new Cabinet had already been signed and submitted for royal endorsement. He added that he would later proceed to pay respects at the Bangkok City Pillar Shrine.

Anutin gave an interview to the media, stating he joined the conference with other agencies, including the Office of the Secretary to the Cabinet, completely verifying their qualifications. He also submitted a request for royal approval to appoint a minister within the evening. Anutin said while he offered sacrifices to Bangkok's Pilar Shrine, making a wish for Thailand to flourish, moving ahead, and peace, including making Thai people happy and united.

When asked about the rumour of the cabinet’s qualifications, he insisted that everyone in the cabinet list was thoroughly verified, and that everything must be under the constitution, confirming the constitutional legitimacy.

For the command relieving the flood, he said, currently, he cannot command for that issue, but hopes the involved agencies, like the Interior Ministry and Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, will be forthcoming to handle the flood. He believes in those working styles, which he has experienced, and also supports equipment, personnel, budget, and agency corporations to compensate the citizens.

Anutin concluded, “A person like me does benefits to people to be happy; the party is the last priority. Who is popular among the people, I am always willing to work with them, the work will definitely not be interrupted by our selected personnel, who continuously work hard.”
