Today (20 March) at 3:45 PM at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, in his capacity as Director of the Center for Monitoring and Managing the Situation in the Middle East (CMZ), gave an interview regarding the Consumer Protection Police Division's (CPPD) inspection of an oil company in Ang Thong province following complaints of hoarding and selling fuel at inflated prices. He stated that an investigation is underway and that Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has signed an order appointing a special task force to investigate the entire country.
When asked if this meant there were many such cases, Mr. Pipat replied that he did not know yet, as further investigation is needed. We'll need to check everything.
