Today (25 March 2026) at 12:50 PM, reporters observed that Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul arrived at Government House from the Parliament to carry out his duties at the Thai Khu Fah building. He traveled in a BYD AWD Performance electric car (costing 1,399,900 baht), Shark Grey in color, with license plate ฎ-9798, to support measures to reduce energy consumption, especially fuel, following the price increase of gasoline and gasohol by 2 baht per liter, while diesel increased by 1.80 baht per liter.

Reporters also noted that today, the Prime Minister adjusted his mode of transportation, using only the driver and two assistants, without a motorcade, to align with the energy conservation policy. Affected by the conflict in the Middle East, the Prime Minister is reportedly scheduled to hold discussions this afternoon with the National Economic and Social Development Council regarding the energy sector's impact.
Furthermore, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, will chair a meeting on the energy situation at the Phakdi Bodin Building, Government House, at 4:30 PM. The meeting is expected to consider adjusting electricity rates for the period of May-August 2026, from 3.88 baht per unit to a range of 3.88-4.59 baht per unit.
