"Prasert" to Meet With "Pondok-Tadika" Administrators Tomorrow

Today (28 April 2026), 9:25 AM at Government House, Mr. Prasert Chantharawongthong, Minister of Education, spoke about inviting administrators of private religious schools in the southern border provinces, "Pondok-Tadika," to a meeting at the Ministry of Education tomorrow. He stated that the discussions will focus on additional welfare proposals submitted by the schools to the ministry and on certain limitations regarding school registration that the schools wish to have exempted. This matter will require consultation to determine how this can be achieved according to regulations. Today, the administrators of both institutions will have discussions with security agencies. Tomorrow, Mr. Piyasiri Wattanavarangkul, Secretary-General of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center, will also participate in the discussion.
