Today (27 October 2026) at 9:30 AM at Government House, the Cabinet meeting chaired by Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, features several key agenda items. Most notably, the Ministry of Finance is proposing a draft ministerial regulation to reduce excise tax rates on oil and petroleum products—including both gasoline and diesel—to stabilize domestic retail fuel prices. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior is seeking approval for the “Solar for the Public” project, as well as initiatives to upgrade energy infrastructure and smart power grid systems.
